Not  necessarily. Sometimes just a change in habits or simple over the counter medications or things like physical therapy can be useful. However, a lot of our patients are sent to us by other doctors specifically for injections/procedures.  A lot of  patients come to us specifically for injections/procedures.

We take most commercial insurance, Medicare, certain Medicare replacement programs(Medicare HMOs) and Worker's Compensation. We do not accept Medicaid.

The vast majority of our patients get SEDATION because it can be quite traumatizing without it.  Most people  have understandable anxiety about getting injections.  The procedures themselves are done in our large procedure suite staffed by a group of highly professional, qualified individuals including RNs, X ray technicians and Anesthetists.

At the initial visit, a comprehensive, individualized review of a given patient's history will be performed and the doctor will devise an individualized plan for that patient.
